Promoting healthy, positive social connections and relationships, fostering a sense of community and emotional resilience, and understanding the affective domain are critical principles in the world of educating our youth. Yet, we also understand that self-care and self-reflection for our educators have never been more important.

Through the eyes of the young educator Bruce Brier, Sweethearts & Heroes presents a timeless fictional allegory based on true stories of loss and HOPE. Reading like a great Netflix series, following Bruce’s tale is a must if you seek to create a culture that cares about helping kids and growing individuals.

No matter what stage of the educating journey you find yourself in, be it a first-year teacher or a time-tested veteran, you’ll find yourself somewhere within these pages. Learning is a lifelong pursuit, and these 13 Pillows provide an enduring philosophy for any field.
