Forged Through HOPE celebrates high school seniors (and some juniors) who have faced significant adversity and emerged stronger. Teachers see these students and wonder, How do they do it? How do they get up and come to school every day?
This mini-documentary series aims to understand their perspectives, daily battles, and the HOPE that drives them. They embody Viktor Frankl’s insight that meaning is discovered “by the attitude we take toward unavoidable suffering.”
The philosopher and psychologist William James famously stated, “The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude.”
At Sweethearts & Heroes, we believe that overcoming adversity shapes identity and purpose. Forged Through HOPE recognizes students who have turned their most challenging moments into their greatest strengths, sharing their stories to inspire others.
